FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:   WRITE RIGHT   A writer was looking for a RIGHT chair at a RIGHT place to sit on and WRITE on a RIGHT subject. Finding a RIGHT chair on his RIGHT side, he sat and started preparing to WRITE but forgot the RIGHT subject to WRITE. He scratched the RIGHT side of his brain to remember the RIGHT subject to WRITE on. He did WRITE what he thought was RIGHT, whether one agreed with it as RIGHT or not. While writing, the pen fell on his RIGHT side, and he recovered it for continuing to WRITE. The pen fell APART, sometimes on his left side and at times on the RIGHT side. Still, he managed to WRITE continuously and completed it, RIGHT!   Only readers can say after reading whether what he WROTE was RIGHT or wrong.   Over to readers for a RIGHT decision. FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:   SALUTE to our DEFENCE PERSONNEL     The MAIN role of our army is to bear all PAIN - in SHINE or RAIN, or in any hostile TERRAIN - no GAIN or BARGAIN, but only BLOODSTAIN for our motherland - the CAPTAIN is CERTAIN to MAINTAIN the CHAIN of vigil - no strength DRAIN and nothing goes in VAIN - they're always ready to CONTAIN the enemy and RETAIN our dignity - no need to EXPLAIN how they strive hard and STRAIN themselves for the safety and security of the NATION.   No CURTAIN unless and until the task is taken forward to the logical CONCLUSION.   They TRAIN and RETRAIN colleagues to make them ever fit and ready to RETAIN their physical and BRAIN powers.   In PLAIN words, they are our saviours.     R.SAMPATH 4.3.2026

FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:   SON     NELSON wanted to teach many a life LESSON to his SON, JOHNSON. At first, he had CHOSEN DAVIDSON, who was later not found to be a suitable PERSON for the REASON that he was in PRISON for ARSON and even TREASON.   Then he eyed ON JACKSON, but he was poor in LIAISON.   Thereupon, he saw JASON, a MASON. SOON, he realized that he may JETTISON. So, he dropped him.   SIMSON was next considered for the job, but he said he would not make an outing during MONSOON SEASON.   Then came the turn of HARRISON, who was rejected because he looked like a BISON.   Thereafter, he sighted WILSON, his STEPSON, who he thought was beyond COMPARISON. He did the job quite well, but NELSON'S SON was too incapable of grasping the LESSON.   So, under the SUN, finally, it all turned out to be a DAMP SQUIB!       R.SAMPATH 2.3.2026

FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:   ANT ANT continues its PLEASANT and RADIANT journey:   An ant accusing others is ALLEGIANT.   An ant straying away is DEVIANT.   An ant that works for clearing bad bacteria INFESTMENT is a DISINFECTANT.   An ant that suddenly becomes invisible and remaining incommunicado is DORMANT.   Ant that wants to look beautiful is ELEGANT.   An ant that creates disputes is DISCORDANT.   An ant that attracts and rouses to ecstatic admiration is ENCHANT.   An ant that keeps two friends equally away is EQUIDISTANT.   An ant interested in assuming power fist becomes an election CONTESTANT.   An ant that goes to court is a LITIGANT.   An ant that changes its area is a MIGRANT.   An ant, which is violent, is a MILITANT.   A brave, heroic, and spirited ant is GALLANT.   A good ant gives a GRANT.   An ant that's not in the know of things is...

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:   CAUSE & EFFECT     The end of an activity is the beginning of another. And, a journey began will end sometime, whereupon another begins.     Any cause ends with an effect. But that effect doesn't stop another cause from emerging.     Cause and effect are like two sides of the same coin, begetting each other in an endless spiral.     An intention gives birth to a cause with an in-built effect.     Take the cause away, and the effect ceases.     'Karma' is nothing but the law of cause and effect dictated by nature.     It's a settled law that, for every action, there is a reaction. But, sometimes, one's action may also be a reaction to a given situation and/or another's behaviour.     In a nutshell, the nature of our actions and the reactions thereto, and the pros and cons, directly depend on the choices we make. ...

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK: STAY POSITIVE   Positive thinking drives away the negative. Even the absence of negative thinking is positive.   Negative thinking shuts you in a blind alley of doubts, suspicions, and skepticism, locking you in a mental block and blinding and preventing you from seeing the positive side of things.     Negativity leads to passivity, whereas positivity draws the road map and finds the landscape for an easy, comfortable, and fail-safe life journey.   Positivity unlocks even the hidden yet purposeful possibilities and potential in you.     Persistence,  perseverance, and perfection are the products of positivity.     Persistent positivity is a passport to and a platform for progress and prosperity, as it helps one leapfrog pathway potholes and pitfalls for a pleasant life journey.       R.SAMPATH 2.2.2026
