  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:   NEGATIVES TO AVOID   A face without a smile,   A heart without love,   Hands without helping others,   Financial richness without sharing at least your mite with the needy,   A mindset that doesn't have  sympathy or empathy,   The legs that don’t rush to the rescue of others in distress,   Eyes without a kind look or grace,   The ears that are vulnerable to one-sided gossip, rumours, tell-tales, evil ideas, and wicked intentions,   A mouth that speaks for selfish ends and promotes ill will, Those who don't raise their voice for the voiceless,   AND   An intelligent brain full of ego and without a forgiving attitude and forgetting approach -     THEY ARE ALL USELESS & WASTEFUL!   R.SAMPATH 29.12.2025

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK: HAIL MOTHERHOOD   Food for thought:   Can you pay the rent for the period of your gestation and stay in the womb of your mother? Can you fix the compensation for the labour pain suffered by your mother? Can you pay for the Mother’s milk you had after your birth? Can you pay for all the warm hugs and caresses you enjoyed from her that protected you from time to time? Can you pay for her musical feast, especially the lullabies, to make you fall asleep every day as a child?   Can you pay her for your safety and protection she ensured without even blinking an eyelid throughout as you grew up?   On how many occasions would you have given anxious moments to her intentionally or otherwise?   How many times would you have taken her for granted in giving her pin-pricks deliberately or otherwise? And, at whose and what cost? What volume of toil and tiresomeness she would have put up with to raise you? These questions...
