You have to think ‘what next’ or ‘what is the next best’, as there are more lessons to be learnt and acted upon from the past failures rather than from the past successes. Think that a failure is nothing but an unfinished success, or a success on the anvil.   There is no use in unduly dwelling on a negative result in despair despite best efforts or due to inadvertence that includes a mistake which happened even unintentionally, or a botch. It is a negative reaction to a negative happening, for which you are responsible or not. It is saner to think in terms of ‘what next' and 'how best' (next time).
