COGNOSCENTI  or  COGNOSCENTE

 

Both the terms ‘COGNOSCENTI’ and ‘COGNOSCENTE’ are used as almost plural noun.

 

Origin ::  Latin

 

"Cognoscente" and "Connoisseur" are more than synonyms; they are also linguistic cousins and perhaps interchangeable. Both terms descend from the Latin verb "cognoscere”, meaning "to know”.

Cog-ne-senti (or) shenti – (‘cog’ as in ‘cognition’, ‘ne’ as in ‘nest’, ‘senti’ as in ‘sentiment’)

 

கா(gh)க்-னெ-ஸென்(t)டி  - or -ஷென்(t)டி

 

Meaning:

 

Someone possessing superior and specialized knowledge in a particular field - refers to people who are well informed and great understanding about a particular subject especially in the art world – ஒரு நுண்கலை வல்லநுர். நுண்ணிய அறிஞர்
