SERENDIPITY:

Sa-ren-di-pity – ஸரன்(d)டிபி(t)ட்டி

 

 

Meaning:

 

Occurrence and development of events taking place by chance and proceeding on a happy note and in a beneficial way – the fact of finding interesting and valuable things by chance – an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by chance or accident – good fortune and luck in making unexpected and useful discoveries.

 

 

Example sentences:

 

The lottery is something one wins by SERENDIPITY and not by design.

 

When it comes to capturing a perfect picture on the camera it is all about SERENDIPITY.

ஸாட்டோ வோச்சே

 

Meaning:

 

Uttering something in an undertone or in a low voice – saying something quietly not audible to others – say in a very soft and quiet voice so that other people cannot easily hear it

Some students can’t keep quiet in the class; they indulge in their own private conversations SOTTO VOCE.

In a drama, at some crucial moments, characters will talk to themselves SOTTO VOCE.
