  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:     IF ONLY அப்படி இருந்தால் / நடந்தால்   काश     I see a big tree in the seed; If only you germinate the bud; Raise the plant and water it as per the need; And also clear the weed!   I see the bright morrow today; If only you lay a strong foundation for that day; Plan and do hard work every day; To become great one day!   I see a dazzling future in the present: If only you ward off pessimism and dissent; And make negative factors absent; To emerge invincible cent percent!   I see the success even in today’s blind end; If only you make a right and serious amend; There are many positive factors to befriend; Enabling  your ability to extend and expand!     R.SAMPATH 30.4.2025

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:       THE WHEEL OF TIME - காலச்சக்கரம்     காலமும் அலைகளும் யாருக்காகவும் காத்திருப்பதில்லை ; மீண்டும் மீண்டும் விழுந்தும் எழுந்து வர மறப்பதில்லை, மறுப்பதில்லை; நேரத்தை பின்னோக்கி கொண்டு செல்ல அனுமதி இல்லை; வீணடிப்போர் மீண்டும் நேரத்தைப் பெறுவதில்லை!     இன்றைய ஒரு மணி நேரம் நாளைய இரு மணிக்கு சமம் என உணர்வோம்; எனக்கு நேரம் இல்லை என்பது எனக்கு விருப்பமில்லை எனபதின் மென்மொழி என தெளிவோம்; நேரத்தை ஒரு கருவியாகப் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும் , ஒரு நாற்காலியாக அல்ல என அறிவோம்;   வீணே கடத்திய காலத்தை நினைப்பதை விட நிகழ்காலத்தைப் போற்றி கடமையை செவ்வனே செய்வோம்!     காலங்கள் மாறும்,  காட்சிகள் மாறும். நாம் மாறாமல் நேர்மையாக உழைப்பது நலம்; நீங்கள் தாமதிக்கலாம் , ஆனால் நேரம் தாமதிக்காது என உணர்ந்தால் நமக்கு பலம்; உங்கள் நேரம் மிகக் குறைவு . அதை மற்றவரின் வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்ந்து வீணடிக்க வேண்டாம், இது தான் எதார்த்த களம்; கால நேர அருமை கருதி நடத்துங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஊர்வலம்! ...

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:       DIGITAL REVOLUTION   While the digital revolution has eased transactions of sorts all across the world, still, the domain is not an unmixed blessing and has brought along some woes as well to grapple with. Basically, it has simplified transactions and considerably reduced the man-power. However, it has also made the man lazy if he chooses to. Physical activities that used to be the norm earlier are on the verge of disappearance, affecting human health as well.   The many truly mind-blowing digital platforms, devices, and gadgets have brought the greatest positive transformation never witnessed by the humankind by removing the vexatious and long-experienced botherations, making the transactions easier and hassle-free than ever before, which one would not have even dreamt of, the glaring example is the online banking, specifically fund transfer and the UPI (Unified Payments Interface) ecosystem.   FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:       PERMANENTLY TEMPORARY AND TEMPORARILY PERMANENT   This piece is not intended to be a serious one and can be taken lightly, and is a funny one. Don’t give too much weight or consideration to the content.   In fact, I often used these two phrases as a joke in different contexts in the office while on service. I just thought of scripting something about them.   Permanently temporary and temporarily permanent - although the phrases are oxymorons, it's true, as often one can see this happening in human life.   Life itself has both characteristics. The phrase ‘Permanently temporary’ is necessarily a paradox as it carries words that are contradictory to each other and poles apart in meaning.   FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:     THERE IS MANY A SLIP BETWEEN THE CUP AND THE LIP   கைக்கு எட்டினது வாய்க்கு எட்டவில்லை   कप और होंठ के बीच कई बार फिसलन होती है   ( या ) जब तक यह पूरा न हो जाए तब तक कुछ भी निश्चित नहीं है     There is many a slip between the cup and the lip. This saying is laced with a negative tinge. However, here it is discussed from a positive perspective. To put the proverb differently: Oft times, many things may fall out between the cup and the lip. Another proverb carrying almost the same purport is: Don’t count the chickens before they are hatched. The Tamil equivalent for this proverb is:  " முட்டை முறிக்காத வரை குஞ்சுகளை எண்ணாதே ", and the Hindi equivalent is:  " अंडा  फूट्ने से  पहले चूज़े मत गिनो.
