ஓ, நிலவே, நாங்களும் மலர்களும் மலர்வதற்காக ஒரு தேன் கலந்த பாடலைப் பாடு;

 

 

மீனவ சமூகம் கூறுகிறது, "நாங்கள் மீன்பிடிக்கக் கடலுக்குள் செல்லும்போது, எங்களுடைய கடல் வீட்டில் நீ மட்டும்தான் எங்களுக்கு ஒளியாக இருக்கிறாய். நன்றி."

 

 

 

காதலன் சொல்கிறான், "என் அன்புக் காதலிக்காகவே நான் நிலவை (தண்ணீர்க் குட்டையில் பிரதிபலிக்கும் நிலவின் பிம்பத்தை) பிடித்து வைத்துள்ளேன்!


நிலா வானத்தில் வந்து போகிறது 

 

 

 

 

MOON (PART-II):

 

 

He-over says, "I will not compare me sweetheart with the SUN as it contains heavy heat. Nor with the MOON as it contains a black scar."

 

 

Lovebirds tell, "Oh, Moon, come in thousands and sing a lovely song on our love."

 

 

Lovers sing thus, "Let's spend time together in a cold-dispensing night in a seacoast on a FULL MOON day."

 

 

She-lover says, "Oh, Moon, are'nt you a woman like me? This night, your light emits heat on me which I am unable to bear. So, instead of directing your light toward me, divert it to a different direction." Thanks.

 

 

Lovers sing, "Let this wonderful night and MOON continue, so that our togetherness will also continue."

 

 

This moment is melted, and so are we... This entire atmosphere is drenched in the light of the moon.

 

 

To look at the moon, you need both eyes... but to look at you, you only9 need the heart."

 

 

If you stubbornly cry asking for the moon, this is a world that fools you by placing a mirror in your hand!"

 

 

MOON and flowers have no castes.

 

 

Only after the MOON came into the sky did the flowers bloom, or, only after MOON's arrival in the sky, did the flowers bloom?

 

 

 

 

In Tamil:

 

 

 

 

காதலன் சொல்கிறான், 'என் காதலியை நான் சூரியனுடன் ஒப்பிட மாட்டேன், ஏனெனில் அது அதிக வெப்பத்தைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. சந்திரனுடனும் ஒப்பிட மாட்டேன், ஏனெனில் அதில் கருப்பு வடு உள்ளது.

 

 

அன்புப் பறவைகள் சொல்கின்றன, 'ஓ நிலவே, ஆயிரக்கணக்கில் வந்து எங்கள் காதலைப் பற்றி ஒரு அழகான பாடலைப் பாடு.

 

 

காதலர்கள் இவ்வாறு பாடுகிறார்கள், 'ஒரு பௌர்ணமி நாளில், கடற்கரையில், குளிர்ச்சியைத் தரும் இந்த இரவில் நாம் ஒன்றாக நேரத்தைக் கழிப்போம்.

 

 

 

காதலி சொல்கிறாள், 'ஓ நிலவே, நீயும் என்னைப்போல் ஒரு பெண் அல்லவா? இந்த இரவில், உனது ஒளி என் மீது வெப்பத்தை உமிழ்கிறது, அதை என்னால் தாங்க முடியவில்லை. எனவே, உனது ஒளியை என் மீது திருப்புவதற்குப் பதிலாக, அதை வேறு திசைக்கு திருப்பு.' நன்றி.

 

 

காதலர்கள் பாடுகிறார்கள், 'இந்த அற்புதமான இரவும் நிலவும் தொடரட்டும், அப்போதுதான் நம் ஒற்றுமையும் தொடரும்.

 

 

 

இந்த நொடி உருகிவிட்டது, நாமும் அப்படியே... இந்த முழு சூழலும் நிலவின் ஒளியில் நனைந்துள்ளது.

 

 

 

நிலவைப் பார்க்க இரு கண்கள் வேண்டும்... ஆனால் உன்னைப் பார்க்க இதயம் மட்டுமே போதும்.

 

 

 

நிலவு வேண்டும் என்று நீ பிடிவாதமாக அழுதால், உன் கையில் கண்ணாடியைக் கொடுத்து ஏமாற்றும் உலகம் இது!

 

 

 

நிலவுக்கும் மலர்களுக்கும் சாதிகள் இல்லை.

 

 

 

வானில் நிலவு வந்த பிறகுதான் மலர்கள் மலர்ந்தனவா, அல்லது, வானில் நிலவின் வருகைக்குப் பிறகுதான் மலர்கள் மலர்ந்தனவா?"

If not, the hooting of milk cookers and/or rice cookers in the neighbourhood would surely do the job. As is the typical characteristic and norm with any machine-like city life, a day began for me amidst the hustle and bustle all around! Ululations of milk, vegetables, and other vendors (nowadays pre-recorded call-outs blare on a loudspeaker),  etc. would herald the beginning of the race with the time, which is what the urban milieus in Chennai, the place of my residence and office were all about.
