THE BOSS & subordinate


Just a satirical piece!

Boss is ever considered intelligent;

For him, his subordinates are detergent!

 

For subordinates, knowledge is power;

For the Boss, authority is power!

 

When Boss makes a mistake, it is considered ‘gainful’;

But if you do that, it is ‘painful’!

 

Boss can criticize you in the open;

And make your spirit dampen!

 

Boss can show his authority as a ring master;

For you, deviating from his orders even slightly for the better would be a disaster!

 

If he bungles, it is his daring experiment;

If you do that, it will be branded as an 'unnessary, wasteful, and useless attempt!'

 

His knowledge is 'infinite';

However knowledgeable you may be, according to him, your credentials are uncertain and indefinite!

 

It is his right to act as per his will and volition;

But if you try that, it is insubordination!

 

Your ‘credit’ is 'his credit’;

For you, claiming vice versa is an act of discredit!

 

His advice to you is unquestionable;

But  even your valuable suggestion is vulnerable!

 

He expects you to recognize him as your guide and even God;

But expecting a boon from him is bad!

 

He only has the right to differ;

But you don’t have the option even to defer!

 

For you, ‘sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander’;

But it is his privilege to make you wander!

 

To be proficient and efficient is your duty and headache;

But, he enjoys giving you backache!  

  

He is your unquestionable leader;

But, you are only his subservient dealer!

 

For him, trying omething new yet silly with no tangible results, is a brave and courageous act of adventure and innovation;

But, if you genuinely try something constructive and creative, it's an act of unnecessary excavation!

  

Yes, the Boss is always right;

So, it's vainful and wasteful for you to show your prudence and smartness!


Yes, Boss is a Boss is a Boss! 

But, a subordinate is a subordinate forever; mind it!

He was affectionately and reverently called VARIYAR SWAMIGAL by people.   He had no formal education.
