MATCHLESS MOTHER

 

ஈடு இணையற்ற தாய்

 

निराली / बेमिसाल  माँ

   

DEDICATED TO ALL MOTHERS!

 

 

Mother is beyond match or comparison;

It's well-known to every daughter and son;

For she nurtured them for ten months inside her benign prison;

By providing them with blood and flesh to give birth to the offspring from her person!

 

Mother never treats her children as a burden;

In her protected cocoon, we all found a care garden;

Enjoyed a cheerful life in that Eden;

Never did she bother if you ever remained beholden!

 

Can you imagine her grueling labour pain?

And her painstaking efforts put in again and again;

To raise her wards into a brainy fountain and mountain,

Without any compromise or bargain!

 

Mother and father are incarnations of GOD;

We are safe and comfortable in their abode;

Whatever their age, they sincerely try to reduce your load;

Even if no more, we will always be in their memory mode and node!

 

Shall we be able to pay the price -

Of the mother's feed we all had, including

all her selfless services?

One wouldn’t have missed seeing the force in her voice;

To make her children rise and rejoice!

 

Mother is the epitome of patience;

She is our life insurance,

the benchmarks being persistence and performance - par excellence;

With brimming confidence, she exhibits utmost forbearance;

To sum up, she is full of radiance!

 

This is my humble ODE praising Mother's relevance and brilliance, besides paying obeisance!
