If you say that you have a BRAIN LIKE A SIEVE, you mean that you have a bad memory and often forget things – the tendency to be exceptionally forgetful or absent-minded or a poor memory – you forget things very easily

He was affectionately and reverently called VARIYAR SWAMIGAL by people.   He had no formal education.
