1) Equivalent :: Equal one, the same – சமம், சமமான,
2) Archives :: Collection, piles or storehouse of old records/documents (including historical), nowadays computer data bank – ஆவண குவியல், காப்பகம்
3) Mesne (profits)° :: Accrued in a period between two dates, recovery of mesne profits on winning a legal case for the same.
4) Subpoena :: A court order asking a person to testify before the judge or depose whatever facts of the case he/she knows, or produce document(s) in his/her possession in the court on a particular date and time, நீதி மன்ற தாக்கீது
5) Permeate :: Smell permeated, passed and spread through air, a room permeated with tobacco smoke – வியாபித்தல், ஊடுருவல்
° Recovery of mesne profits - Assume a person has trespassed into and is in wrongful possession of your property and is dealing with it for a considerable period enjoying the value of the crops/rents from that property. You, lawful owner, can recover all the money equivalent to the value of crops/rents illegally received and enjoyed by that person who was in wrongful possession of your property. This can be done only by filing a legal case and obtaining an order of court for recovery of what is called ‘mesne profits’.

° Equivalent – We Indians however for long used to say ‘ஈக்வலன்ட்’ with the flow. This pronunciation has thus come to stay with us as part of the ‘Indian-speak’ of English
POEM – is pronounced as ‘pom’ (‘po’ as in ‘dominion’ – பொம்
POETRY – is pronounced as ‘po-ye-tri’ - பொ-எ-ட்ரி
