SWEET HOME


East or West, HOME is the best. And, try as you might, it should be difficult to find a better place to call it your SWEET HOME. A house may have been made of mud, walls of bricks, beams, etc., but a HOME is made with a lot of love, affection, dreams, growth, development, progress, and prosperity.

 

HOME and parents alone can provide the best environment for children.



The ‘Home, Sweet Home’ was authored by American actor and dramatist John Howard Payne (in 1823 Opera Glari (or) the Maid of Milian), whose first two lines run as follows:



Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam

Be it ever so humble, there's no place like HOME



Modern terms for today’s trendy ‘WORK FROM HOME’ are - TELEWORKING, TELECOMMUTING, REMOTE WORK, or FLEXIBLE WORKPLACE.


 

HOMEMAKING is a ministry, and HOMEMAKERS are FORTUNE / FUTURE-MAKERS, especially of their children.


 

HOME-COOKED food is the best at all times.


 

Politicians, if after defecting from a party and re-joining it later, will honourably call it 'HOMECOMING.'


 

The hospitality industry will claim that staying in their hotel is like ‘HOME AWAY FROM YOUR HOME’.

 

Nowadays, people prefer a location for their HOME that avoids an arduous, long journey to the city and the din of urban life.

 

HOMEMAKER has the ultimate career. All other careers exist for one purpose only, and that is to support the ultimate career.

 

HOME is where you are loved the most, and act the worst. It doesn’t matter how big or small your house is, as long as you have a HAPPY HOME.

 

Some players would feel comfortable and love to play on their HOME-TURF.

 

I would prefer to live in my SWEET HOMELAND with less comfort rather than in a foreign country with luxury.

 

HOME-GROWN miscreants are sometimes more dangerous than the alien terrorists.


He is a HOME-LOVING guy. His verses are HOMELY marked by religious fervour and simple language.

    A really fantastic article. Yes nothing like a home sweet home, especially in our motherland. Like you aptly said home-makers are future -makers. Lastly, everyone enjoys being at home at the end of the day wherever it might be with their loved ones and feel safe and happy.

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:       THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR திருமுருக கிருபானந்த வாரியார் (25 August 1906 - 7 November 1993)   THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR was born on 25.8.1906 in Kangeyanallur near Vellore, Tamil Nadu.   He sowed divinity in the minds of the common man and words contemplated upon were humorously conveyed by him so as to grip the minds of his audience. He was affectionately and reverently called VARIYAR SWAMIGAL by people.   He had no formal education.
