ENGLISH WORDS – ‘SPLIT AND GET’ new meaning in the same sentence:

 

1.	STANDOFF – The STANDOFF between ‘X’ and ‘Y’ came to an end on 1.6.2020 at the cycle STAND OFF Mambalam Railway Station.
2.	FOREMOST – His FOREMOST strength is his art of sculpture which recently came to the FORE MOST of which remained dormant for long.
3.	HILLTOP – The HILLTOP is a pleasant place and he would go and remain on the HILL TOP of which may only be partially visible from the ground level.
4.	GODOWN – After inspecting the 3-storey GODOWN, he didn’t GO DOWN but visited the terrace of the building too.
5.	TURNOUT – The TURNOUT at the wedding reception was too big and jam-packed that he could not even TURN OUT of the hall.
6.	NONSENSE – It was a no NONSENSE and pragmatic decision, and a sine-qua-NON SENSE being the essence.
7.	DRAGON – A big DRAGON was found dead on the edge of the lake but the person who saw it could not DRAG ON the carcass to the bank.
8.	UPSTAIRS – For a change Mr. X wanted to sleep in the UPSTAIRS bedroom of his house and when he started to climb UP STAIRS were found to be wet and slippery and hence he had to climb up slowly and cautiously.
9.	CASHLESS – CASHLESS transaction is the new natural-resources-friendly norm in which one needs to carry only barest minimum CASH LESS than what we used to carry for shopping many years ago, thanks to the advent of e-transaction era.
10.	PARTAKING – Making others PARTAKING in our joys is a good human trait treating people at self PAR TAKING pleasure in it.
11.	INDUSTRIALIST – An INDUSTRIALIST, who is an ardent activist of ‘Mission Excavation INDUS’, has published an INDUS TRIAL-LIST.
12.	AGROUND  -  A boat ran AGROUND off the Marina coast near which there was A GROUND where children were playing.
13.	OUTSTANDING – An OUTSTANDING actor after remaining at home for long due to an ailment was OUT STANDING among his fans who had gathered in the lawns of his house to greet him on his recovery.
14.	NOTWITHSTANDING – NOTWITHSTANDING the best support given by his colleagues, he was NOT WITHSTANDING the rigours of mountaineering and finally came down back to his downhill camp abandoning his attempt.
15.	ROADWAY – Patel ROADWAY buses operate up to Gandhi ROAD WAY beyond 20 KM of the city limits.
16.	INTERACTABILITY – Constant INTERACTABILITY was the best option for resolution of the issue, but the Manager didn’t properly INTERACT ABILIY in him being the dampener and spoilsport.
17.	CAREFREE - A public authority should not be a CAREFREE master as he is bound to take CARE FREE of any bias or partiality of people regarding their grievances.
18.	SEAWATER – Conversion of SEAWATER into normal water is generally possible but from that SEA WATER conversion costs too much.
19.	LIFELIKE – It was a mind-blowing LIFELIKE painting done by ‘X’ depicting underwater LIFE LIKE of which I had never seen before.
20.	ONLINE – In this lockdown period, ONLINE classes have become a new norm to keep children ON LINE of a trendy self-actualization learning mode.
