Pronunciation:  ‘umbrege’– அம்(b)ரெஜ்

 

Meaning:

 

To feel offended, annoyed, hurt or upset by something, often without a good reason and/or usually misunderstanding what somebody has said - also because you feel that someone has been rude or shown disrespect or discourtesy to you

He was affectionately and reverently called VARIYAR SWAMIGAL by people.   He had no formal education.
