FORAY and CHUTZPAH:

 

FORAY:

 

Origin:  Old French

 

Pronunciation:

 

Foa-ray  -  ஃபோரே

 

Meaning:

 

A sudden incursion, invasion, attack, raid – exploration, expedition or adventure into, all totally new - a short period of time being involved in an activity that is different from and outside the range of the usual set of normal activities of a person – make an entry into a new, different and/or unfamiliar type of activity and proceed to become involved in it

Of late, women have made FORAYS into fields traditionally considered as male domains/bastions.

HUTS-PAH (‘huts’ as in ‘puts’ and ‘pah’ as in ‘saw’) – ஹுட்ஸ்ப்பா

 

Meaning:

 

Audacious - extreme or over self-confidence – unusual and shocking behaviour involving taking unnecessary risks but still not feeling guilty – personal over-confidence or courage or guts or gumption that may come across as rude but allows one to say or do what they feel without any fear - செருக்காக, 

செருக்குத்தனத்திற்காக
