THE INVISIBLE YOU

 

As the minds of people of the whole world are now running riot with mélange of scary information and data and remain frozen unable to think about anything beyond the menacing ubiquitous COVID-19 (caused by the Coronavirus), and as the clueless heads of all nations of the world including super-powers (however mighty they may be) – nonplussed and flummoxed as they are - keep their fingers crossed, the monstrous Coronavirus wreaking havoc with people’s health across the globe, has emerged the titular head or the Czar of the world for wrong reasons and the king of all ailments relegating the hitherto known dreaded ailments like H1N1, Ebola, SARS, Plague, Dengue, Chikungunya, Smallpox, and Chickenpox, to mention a few, to the backburner.  

 

You (the  Coronavirus) have bewildered and petrified the human-race even as animals, birds, reptiles, etc. continue looking their business as usual. You have thrown the normal human life haywire, paralyzing human movements, made them wear masks hiding their identity and prompting them to be away from each other, all in the name of the hitherto unknown modern term ‘social distancing’. There is also a churning adverse effect on the economy of the whole world. Today we have masked humans roaming about like dacoits. After stoppage of trains, buses and other vehicles and the roads remaining empty and public places deserted, etc. for months, and with the statistics and data showing a somewhat controlled state of affairs, there is some respite now in the form of many relaxations from the complete lockdown that we had earlier.  

 

On a secular plank, you have made all the places of religion and worship to shut down. Although remaining out of sight to the naked eyes of humans, you have spread your wicked and harmful wings across the globe perpetrating a reign of horror.  

  

However, at the hindsight you seemed to have united an otherwise fractured and fragmented human society by cutting wedges and setting dividing lines among them on many perceivable grounds, on a common platform for fighting the health crisis. The Invisible You has taught us many forgotten lessons. Will the humans keep them in mind at least from now onwards?

  

One is rather mystified and bamboozled whether YOU are taking revenge on humans for their past sins like mass deforestation and industrialization by meddling with and harming the nature and causing disturbances to the unpolluted airspace, eco-system and bio-diversity with a pseudo-scientific gobbledygook and hooey for selfishly enjoying a luxurious and pompous life, among others.  

 

Alas, what a precarious situation we are now in? The crestfallen human faces are not even able to look at each other. People shy and run away from each other without looking face-to-face. Ironical indeed!

 

When will all these bad omens go off? Probably, only after the human-kind repents for its self-destructive thoughts and actions, and realizes the eternal truths sans negative perceptions.

 

Even a difficulty is an opportunity. Taking the cue and clue, we can turn a new leaf at least now. Can’t we?

 

The Corona crisis, unfortunate though, has Created a Common Cause and made our Prime Minister Narendera Modiji the best Counselor, Campaigner, Champion and Crusader by Clamping Curfew at Correct time, and with his Characteristic steadfastness he Can as well emerge India's Commander-in-Chief representing its Cream and Collective wisdom, world-level Coordinator, Co-operator, Chancellor of the Life University, and Conqueror of evils, finally flattening the Catastrophe Curve. He is the Captain Capable of Carefully Constructing a mountain of Civic sense Concomitant with Camaraderie and mutual Co-existence in the society. He has Carved a niche. If we all scrupulously follow the requisite DO's and DON'Ts, we will surely be out of the deadly woods sooner than later.

 

We Indians are happy that our Prime Minister Narendra Modiji is emerging as one of the tallest world leaders. While his government is doing its best acting in tandem with all the provincial governments to tackle and eradicate the COVID-19 health menace in India, he is also looked at as a world leader and guiding force by the virus affected countries including the U.S. and the western bloc which have contemplated concerted actions together with India in overcoming the current health crisis. We thank those countries for pinning their hopes on our PM and keeping him in high esteem. We also look forward to joint actions by world countries to check the spread of the virus at the first instance and then eliminate it once and for all.

 

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced a PM-CARES fund for donations to India’s war against the COVID-19. Those who cannot render physical help in this precarious hour can at least financially contribute to the noble cause. All should contribute liberally. There has been a good response for this noble cause.

 

India’s anti-Corona initiatives including mainly the lockdown have already started paying dividends, Even though India had done an excellent job so far, still there is a long way to go. It is perhaps too early to pat ourselves on our back. But together we can achieve the inevitable success sooner than later.

 

With all said done, in the absence of vaccination shots there are now only three preventive safeguards – wearing of mask, social distancing, and hand and face cleanliness and hygiene.

 

There is a never-before-seen rat race for producing vaccines. There are many vaccination candidates in the process of being produced by different countries and agencies that are in final stage trials before administration to human-beings. Everybody’s hopes and focus are now on vaccines to come to our rescue soon.
