HOLOCAUST:
Pronunciation:
Hoa-la-coast (or) hoa-la-caust - ஹோலகோஸ்ட் (or) ஹோலகாஸ்ட்
Meaning:
A sacrifice wholly consumed by
fire; burnt offering – a complete or large-scale destruction in fire – a great
slaughter or massacre – mass deaths in a war – destruction on a mass scale
especially caused by fire or war including a nuclear conflict – a great or complete
devastation or destruction especially by fire.
