SHE IS IN THE FAMILY WAY:

 

This is an expression commonly used in India to mean that someone is pregnant. Native English speakers would consider it to be rather old fashioned. They make the following usage if someone is pregnant:

 

She is expecting.

 

She is carrying.

 

She is eating for two.

 

 

They also rarely say:

 

 

She has a bun in the oven

 

She is in the pudding club

 

 

செல்லம் சொல்லுக்கு அஞ்சுமா?

Will a spoiled child fear rebuke?
