Meaning:

 

You speak frankly, openly, and directly about something - to say the truth about something even if it is not a pleasant one, or liked by the person(s) concerned - not to hide or dress the truth up, and speak in a straight forward manner and language - it is used when the description of something/someone is given honestly - to address or describe the true nature of someone or something without hiding anything and without fear.
