GREATNESS OF SMALLNESS:

 From Sampath’s Desk:

GREATNESS OF SMALLNESS:

  • Even a journey of thousand miles starts with a single step.
  • Often, the smallest things provide the root and route for the greatest accomplishments.
  • The ripples or the small capillary waves in a small pond, so beautiful as they are, melt and soften your heart rather than the uproar of the big riotous waves of the turbulent and boisterous sea/ocean.
  • Even a simple idea may be a 'work-in-progress' for big projects provided it is backed and followed up by resoluteness, tenacity, and perseverance to achieve.
  • Small opportunities are often the beginning of great enterprises.
  • Even the greatest glories had the simplest beginnings.
  • Even great personalities had only a humble beginning. They were not born great. They meticulously overcame their troubles, trials, and tribulations - little by little, and step by step - to clinch success and emerge great.
  • While a technician builds a small job, the entrepreneur builds an enterprise. Here, all the small jobs done by the tech workers crystallize and consolidate into a great work viz. a big enterprise.
  • The richness of smallness universally attracts and fascinates people.
  • Strong conviction-backed pursuits, however small they may be, precede milestone achievements.
  • Every King or Queen was once a cry baby and every great building was just a blueprint once.
  • Sacrifice is greater than love. Character is greater than beauty. Humanity is greater than wealth, but nothing is greater than a small yet strong relationship/friendship.
  • There are four ‘D’s in life – Desire, Determination, Dedication and Discipline. You need all these four small elements to emerge great. But it all starts with the 5th ‘D’ viz. a small Dream.
  • The key to a successful life is to have more beginnings, often small ones, than endings.
  • A journey, small one to start with, from inspiration to perfection inevitably leads you to the path of success.
  • An invisible big tree is encrypt in a small seed.
  • An egg is bird involved and a bird is egg evolved.
  • Even a spark can cause a forest fire.
  • Let us celebrate and cherish the smallest and lightest moments of life to remain happy.

Proverb:

சமர்த்தனுக்கு ஏதும் பெரிதல்ல.

Nothing is too great for a clever man.

The contents here are well articulated and deserves encomiums. As rightly said in this article, every accomplishment starts with a small step. Even a nitwit knows that culmination of small tthings will only lead to big achievements.
