PROBLEM AND SOLUTION

PROBLEM
AND SOLUTION

The
age-old saying is: Every problem is an opportunity in disguise. Handle problems
as an opportunity - but still, who wants such opportunities? Everyone would like to have a
smooth going and failsafe safe sail in life. However, the greatest problem to
overcome is doubt/fear.
We
have often heard the saying, "Be part of the solution, not part of
the problem." A problem
well-defined and well-understood is half-solved.
Obviously, the weak have problems, but the strong have
solutions.
If you take an ordinary problem as a serious problem, then
that problem will multiple into a slew of new problems precluding you from
rightly understanding the problem for problem-solving, preventing you from
leading a problem-free life.
A thought-provoking quote from Kamala Harris is: “The problem of
solving a problem is not a problem. But when a problem solves a problem without
any problem, then the problem is not at all a problem.”
If you look at a problem from the right perspective, you can
see it always coming with an in-built solution, which, of course, has to be
deciphered with a discerning mind.
Needless to say, people tend to run away from impending
troubles or problems. A funny saying is: Never trouble the trouble unless the
trouble troubles you.
Sometimes, in the garb of a problem, something good may also happen to us. Weeding out the bad elements and properties that a problem is fraught with is the first right step in the right direction towards the destination. Swiftly swinging into action, we can harvest desired good results, treating the problem as an opportunity.
Man-made problems are a hard nut to crack, eluding solution, whereas naturally occurring problems are relatively easy to solve.
We can remember the oft-repeated sayings here: “Your day is as good
as you make it. One who has not achieved anything has not perhaps tried or made
any effort(s) at all. Smooth roads produce no good drivers; smooth seas make no
good sailors; a clear sky churns out no good pilots. A problem-free life will not
produce good, brave, and competent troubleshooters. Challenging problems only
embolden and propel people into adventure.
If you think the problem is the best
assignment, you will do it flawlessly, and the solution will be prompt and
perfect, besides being effective.
‘Magic Bullet’ means you have a quick, perfect, and easy
solution to a problem, often one that is deceptively simple.
It’s used in various contexts, including Medicine, Business,
Politics, Science, and Technology.
Brian
Tracy (a Canadian-American motivational public speaker and
self-development author) once said, "Leaders think and talk about
solutions. Followers think and talk about problems."
SHAPE your understanding of the problem, SCRATCH your brain, avoid SIDESTEPPING or SIDETRACKING, SHARPEN your intellect, STRENGTHEN your fortitude, START the SOLUTION SEARCH with a SERIES of your SERIOUS thought processes SHUNNING and SPURNING the old SCHOOL of thought, SOLIDIFY your tentative SKETCHES and SCHEMES, SELECT and SAVE the SENSIBLE STUFF to SUBSTANTIATE your SPECIAL thinking SKILLS, SET apt nuances and niceties in your presentation, SYNCHRONIZE the possibilities, SUPPLEMENT SUBTLETIES, and SHARE your well-considered views and SUGGEST a SURE SHOT SAFE, SECURE, and SUCCESSFUL SOLUTION! Clothed with SUPER SKILLS, the human brain can SHINE and SPARKLE with SCINTILLATING ideas if properly channeled. A problem - SMALL or big - needs a SLOW and STEADY STUDY but a STRONG SUBSTANTIAL SUBSTANCE to hammer out a SUITABLE SOLUTION. Don’t fear any temporary SETBACK(S) allowing your SPIRIT to dampen.
Duke Ellington said, “A problem is a chance for you to do your best.”
Life is not a problem as such, but some feel so. They make out a problem and then go about seeking a solution. What a ridiculous idea it is?
Sometimes, the problem with some is that they think they have no time. It is an altogether misconception that our ‘perceived lack of time’ is a real limitation. It is not so. Steal some time to think out-of-box for a real and enduring solution.
Let me now conclude with the following quotes of
Swami Vivekananda:
In a day, when you don’t come across any problems - you can be sure
that you are travelling in a wrong path.
Albert Einstein:
Stay away from negative
people. They have a problem for every solution. A clever person solves a
problem. A wise person avoids it.
