AVOID BEING HARD - BE SOFT AND KEEP COOL

 

Why speak harsh when you have many a soft and sweet word?

Hard, you can well avoid;

Don't take friendship backward;

Which you can ill-afford;

Using rough and tough words - isn't it absurd?


Why join a bad and black sheep herd?

Instead, be a trusted friend and free bird;

Don’t become wild and behave weird; 

Eschew falsehood ;

Don’t bend or sidetrack; advance forward!

 

Situation sometimes becomes like a double-edged sword;

The right choice is to go onward;

Brush aside the proverb ‘old habits die hard’;

Shun, going downward;

Why get your fame tarnished and name marred?

 

Don’t spread canard;

Always be above board;

Henceforward, for others, be a guard and safeguard;

Accord priority to deserving people and things; don't go devilward;

Be honest and sincere, both inward and outward!

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:       THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR திருமுருக கிருபானந்த வாரியார் (25 August 1906 - 7 November 1993)   THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR was born on 25.8.1906 in Kangeyanallur near Vellore, Tamil Nadu.   He sowed divinity in the minds of the common man and words contemplated upon were humorously conveyed by him so as to grip the minds of his audience. He was affectionately and reverently called VARIYAR SWAMIGAL by people.   He had no formal education. However, he was brought up by his father himself at home giving him core divine knowledge and wisdom. Swamigal learned Tamil literature, grammar, and music, especially playing Veena.
