REAL FREEDOM

 

 

Freedom is God's natural gift with which we all came here;

Freedom means being free from fear;

Living in your hut with freedom is better than being a palace slave with beautiful attire to wear;

Nothing can match or replace it, including modern hardware or software!

 

Freedom is a fundamental human need;

It is a tool for individuals' as well as society’s way forward;

But not to be used for self-greed;

Nor to make others dread!

 

Let's not part with freedom at any cost;

As slavery keeps you in tenterhooks almost;

Nothing else can give you a stronger morale boost;

Choose freedom-rich words and deeds to host!

 

Use your freedom for any noble cause;

Don't misuse; do prevent others from abuse;

There are limits to freedom you should not cross;

Lest you will have to go for a toss!

 

Freedom can steal millions of sweethearts;

But one's freedom ends where another’s nose starts;

It draws and designs ideal life blueprints;

Churning out mega yet easy-going life charts!

    A wonderful poem. Just like how you enjoy shade when in sun, freedom can be felt only when you are released from all bondages. Very true, freedom is ldoing what you want without anybody's permission. All quotes are excellent. Poem is really profound.

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:       THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR திருமுருக கிருபானந்த வாரியார் (25 August 1906 - 7 November 1993)   THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR was born on 25.8.1906 in Kangeyanallur near Vellore, Tamil Nadu.   He sowed divinity in the minds of the common man and words contemplated upon were humorously conveyed by him so as to grip the minds of his audience. He was affectionately and reverently called VARIYAR SWAMIGAL by people.   He had no formal education. However, he was brought up by his father himself at home giving him core divine knowledge and wisdom. Swamigal learned Tamil literature, grammar, and music, especially playing Veena. At age 8 itself, he had to his credit many poems in ‘Venba’ style. Again, on the one side, it is about feeling self-joy, and on the other, a solace-seeking exercise during trials and tribulations.
