TRUTH AND FALSEHOOD

 

Tell truth; no need to remember anything;

Truthfulness, despite any initial setback, finally gets you everything;

If you don't believe in 'truth alone triumphs', you have in life nothing;

Remember, all lies will one day get unearthing!

 

 

Don't skip telling truth even if it hurts someone;

For self-confession to an honest mistake, you will be appreciated by everyone;

A frequent liar will be tolerated by none;

Truth can't be eclipsed forever; it will re-emerge like the Sun!

 

 

Lying is a waste;

More so, when you do it in haste;

For it's not to honest people's taste;

You will be exposed if put to a test!

 

 

Lie not against conscience; lest you will get emotional pain:

There will be ultimate loss despite initial gain;

The best choice is to speak plain;

Don't take lying in a lighter vein;

To do so will be in utter vain;

Truth is fire; going against it will make you burn!

 

 

Truth is strong timber;

Decrying it is like playing with ember;

Otherwise, life will become somber;

At times, an innocuous lie to save an innocent is not necessarily an encumber;

Never fail to remember!

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:       THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR திருமுருக கிருபானந்த வாரியார் (25 August 1906 - 7 November 1993)   THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR was born on 25.8.1906 in Kangeyanallur near Vellore, Tamil Nadu.   He sowed divinity in the minds of the common man and words contemplated upon were humorously conveyed by him so as to grip the minds of his audience. He was affectionately and reverently called VARIYAR SWAMIGAL by people.   He had no formal education. However, he was brought up by his father himself at home giving him core divine knowledge and wisdom. Swamigal learned Tamil literature, grammar, and music, especially playing Veena.
