WHY?

WHY?
 
1. Why brood over in despair that lies at 
your back when there are rays of hope 
in front of you?
 
2. Why waste time hopelessly staring at
a firmly closed and tightly locked door 
instead of searching for open doors 
beyond which there are greener pastures, 
a little away, which, of course, requires 
your effort and time to search and reach?
 
3. Why bother about curd with milk in 
hand?
 
4. Why worry too much for failure, as it's 
only the 'work-in-proges's for success. 
Revise your strategy and procedure 
accordingly and re-do for the inevitable 
success.
 
5. Why carve out a small hole for small rats 
and mouses when there is already a big 
hole for the passage of bandicoots and 
cats? Isn't it a waste of time, energy, 
and resources?
 
6. Act in time, lest you regret later. 
Why close or shut the stable door after 
the horse has bolted. After all, what you
tried to prevent has already happened, 
and there is no use in taking an infructuous 
and redundant action of no consequence, 
that too belatedly.
 
7. Don’t unnecessarily poke your nose
 into others’ affairs unless extremely 
warranted or your intervention specifically 
sought for. Yes, don’t interfere with others' 
business. Let the dogs lie as they are 
undisturbed. 
 
8. Don’t give unsolicited advice. That 
may backfire or even boomerang. 
 
9. Why entertain and encourage gossip/ 
rumour-mongers. They may try the same 
route against you also later.
 
10. Some easily and routinely tell lies,
 even on the same subject, but it would be
 difficult for them to remember which lie 
was said to whom. Such persons may get 
embarrassed when confronted with 
bumpers and bouncers from others and 
may even get awkwardly  exposed. 
Why then tell lies?

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:       THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR திருமுருக கிருபானந்த வாரியார் (25 August 1906 - 7 November 1993)   THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR was born on 25.8.1906 in Kangeyanallur near Vellore, Tamil Nadu.   He sowed divinity in the minds of the common man and words contemplated upon were humorously conveyed by him so as to grip the minds of his audience. He was affectionately and reverently called VARIYAR SWAMIGAL by people.   He had no formal education. However, he was brought up by his father himself at home giving him core divine knowledge and wisdom. Swamigal learned Tamil literature, grammar, and music, especially playing Veena. At age 8 itself, he had to his credit many poems in ‘Venba’ style.
