DO, DON'T
FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:
DO, DON'T
1. Love the soul, not the body;
2. Steal others' hearts, not their money or property;
3. Give help, not trouble;
4. Think good, shun evil thoughts;
5. Praise, don’t do flattery;
6. Call a spade a spade in the open, don’t backstab;
7. Heartily smile at others, not with evil eyes;
8. Play for the physical well-being, not with the lives of others;
9. Run for others, not away from them when they are in crisis;
10. Abandon your ego, but not your self-esteem at any cost;
11. Drive home your positive and valid points and ignore the empty
negative narratives of the disgruntled elements;
12. Unite people in bond and friendship, don't cut wedges among
them;
13. Don’t envy or grudge, as it wouldn't do anything good to
anyone, much less you;
14. Opt for kind words and deeds, don't promote hatred or enmity;
15. Fooling others may be easy and even funny at times, but getting fooled will be
difficult to bear!
16. Instead of raising your voice, upgrade your discourse and improve your argument.
"What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult
for each other?"
