MAN PROPOSES, GOD DISPOSES

 

Man proposes, God disposes;

Man designs his life, but HE finalises.

Man hides his misdeeds, but HE exposes.

Man opens his 'desires' box, but HE closes!

 

Man thinks he will live forever, but GOD smiles at his ignorance;

Man believes he can fool all, but GOD scorns his fake exuberance;

Man feels what appears is real, but HE laughs off the incorrect inference;

Sometimes, man ignores the existence of GOD, but HE falsifies it by giving him strange experiences!

 

Man likens life to a rose, forgetting GOD has grown thorns alongside;

Man boasts he is the wisest, but GOD hits back and puts his bragging aside;

Man claims he has conquered nature, but HE bursts the myth bubbles of this unreal self-pride;

Man expects his journey to be hassle-free, but sometimes, it turns out to be a tough and hard ride!

 

Man wants himself and his loved ones to be happy, but GOD insists on happiness for the whole of humanity;

Whereas man wants to rule, GOD has the overruling ingenuity;

Man wants everything reserved for himself, but HE condemns it as insanity;

Some men are greedy, but HE is for equality and equanimity!

   

SERVICE TO MAN IS SERVICE TO GOD!

  FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:       THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR திருமுருக கிருபானந்த வாரியார் (25 August 1906 - 7 November 1993)   THIRUMURUGA KRIPANANDA VARIYAR was born on 25.8.1906 in Kangeyanallur near Vellore, Tamil Nadu.   He sowed divinity in the minds of the common man and words contemplated upon were humorously conveyed by him so as to grip the minds of his audience. He was affectionately and reverently called VARIYAR SWAMIGAL by people.   He had no formal education. However, he was brought up by his father himself at home giving him core divine knowledge and wisdom. Swamigal learned Tamil literature, grammar, and music, especially playing Veena. At age 8 itself, he had to his credit many poems in ‘Venba’ style.
