Dear birds, your feathers are FINE;

With beautiful colours and DESIGN;

Flying from Garden to MOUNTAIN;

You teach the humans many a LESSON;

With your chirping pleasing to LISTEN;

There could be no second OPINION -

If you don't exist, the Earth

and the Sky will lose their SHEEN!

God-gifted wings take you ANYWHERE;

You're cynosure for people EVERYWHERE;

You're always busy moving to SOMEWHERE;

And are seen HERE or THERE!

You build your own NEST;

For you, that's the BEST;

You're an indefatigable ACTIVIST;

Your activities are a visual FEAST!

Mostly flying as a FLOCK en bloc;

You always remain in a friendship LOCK;

Whatever be the situation - THICK or thin - you never miss the right TRACK;

Care-free, you never get STUCK!
