(Dedicated to our group members and grandchildren)

 

 

 

 

Grandmother isn't just a close RELATIVE;

 

But who doesn’t have a parallel ALTERNATIVE;

 

They're fond of INTERACTIVE;

 

With their grandchildren and being SUPPORTIVE!

 

Grandparents are our asset and are RECREATIVE!

 

 

 

 

Who can forget her profuse love and AFFECTION?

 

And many a CONVERSATION -

 

While we were tender children and her lovely ASSOCIATION and ATTENTION;

 

That gave us utmost SATISFACTION and INSPIRATION;

 

Of far-reaching positive IMPLICATION!

 

 

 

 

Is it possible to forget many interesting stories narrated by her now and THEN?

 

At that old age, she would have been more enraptured and enamoured by grandchildren than even their own CHILDREN;

 

The bonding between grandparents and grandchildren would be unique and AWESOME;

 

For both, it was, is, and will be JOYSOME!

 


THEY CREATE A WONDERFUL JOURNEY AS PART OF OUR LIFE, WITH OUR MEMORY LANE ETCHED WITH THINGS OF SORTS TO RECALL.

FROM SAMPATH’S DESK:                 NETAJI SUBASH CHANDRA BOSE (23 January 1897-18 August 1945) PARAKRAM DIWAS - (DAY OF VALOUR)   Subash Chandra Bose was born on 23 rd January 1897 in Cuttack in the erstwhile Orissa Division of Bengal Province of the British India.   Though born into a large, wealthy, well-educated, and privileged Bengali family, the fire in him for the freedom of India was rather inextinguishable, and his thirst unquenchable. The British rulers jailed him in 1921-1922 because he took active interest in our national independence struggle. Again, in 1925, he was sent to prison in Mandalay for nationalist activities and released in 1927.   After being the President of the Indian National Congress during 1938-1939, differences arose with the top Congress leadership and he resigned from the post and party.   He advocated complete Swaraj and was in favour of the use of force, if necessary,...
